We have a dual vision for our Massage Teaching Clinic: first, to give our students the opportunity to put their massage therapy training into practice in a supervised setting and second, to educate the public on the physical and psychological benefits of massage therapy treatments. More than ever, people are using therapeutic massages to get relief from chronic pain, muscle aches, stress and anxiety, making it one of the fastest-growing fields in the healthcare industry. Our clinic is located at our campus at 133 3rd Avenue North in downtown Saskatoon. We’re open Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 to 6:45PM, with regular massages at $30 ($15 for seniors). Book an appointment by calling (306) 652-5359 to relax, unwind and feel like a whole new you.
EXPECTING AND NEW MOTHERS
Our Massage Teaching Clinic is pleased to offer three complimentary treatments to expectant mothers who have passed their first trimester, and three complimentary treatments after the baby is born. This is our way of helping expectant and new moms with edema (swelling), muscle tension and headaches while enhancing their overall level of relaxation and sense of well-being.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT US
On your first visit to the clinic, we recommend you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out a detailed case history that will give us important information on your lifestyle and any past or present injuries. This information will help your student therapist determine and explain the treatment plan that will be used. After this, it’s all about you! You can choose to dress down as little or as much as you’re comfortable with. When your treatment is complete, your student therapist may make recommendations on stretching exercises and other forms of follow-up home care.
MASSAGE THERAPY GUIDELINES
Getting a massage should be a pleasant experience for you and your student therapist. Before your appointment, we ask that you:
- Avoid using any strong scents or perfumes
- Avoid eating heavy meals
- Go to the washroom to avoid any discomfort during your massage
- Schedule your appointment when you know you’ll have time to relax afterwards

Full Body Clay Wrap ($75)
During the Full Body Clay Wrap, linens that have been soaked in clay, water and ice are applied to specific areas of the body to draw out toxins, increase circulation and strengthen the immune system.
Salt Glow ($35)
A paste of salt & water is applied to the body with gentle friction to exfoliate the skin, increase skin tone and enhance circulation. The treatment is followed by a relaxing warm wash or shower.
Steam Sauna ($2 is added to massage price)
The Steam Sauna is a pre-treatment warm-up that’s followed by a luxurious, calming massage, which helps bring relief to strains and sprains and chronic rheumatoid or degenerative osteoarthritic joints. The treatment also helps build the body’s immunity, increase skin circulation, regenerate skin cells and encourage better blood circulation.
Paraffin Wax ($35 for single; $60 for double)
This treatment provides a succession of emersions or coatings with heated therapeutic wax to chronically injured areas of the body. It helps to speed healing, soothe muscle and joint pain and increase circulation all while moisturizing the skin and promoting a soothing sense of calm. It’s a great treatment for chronic strains and sprains, arthritic joints, adhesions and contractures, eczema, fibromyalgia, inflammations and overworked or fatigued muscles.
